Erasmus+: Changing lives

Yet, Erasmus not only proved to improve career prospects, but it also broadens horizons and social links: 40% of former Erasmus students have changed their country of residence or work at least once since graduation, almost double the number of those who were not mobile during studies; 33% have a partner of a different nationality, compared with 13% of those who stay home during their studies. Based on this, the Commission estimated that around one million babies are likely to have been born to Erasmus couples since 1987.

Did you know that Federica Mogherini, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, is also part of the Erasmus generation? Find her testimony here.
