The European Commission has suggested a more results – oriented approach for EU cohesion funding in its legislative proposals for 2014 – 2020

A new guidance on evaluation plans was discussed with Member States in a joint meeting organised by DG EMPL and DG REGIO on 15 May.

This guidance will support Managing Authorities in designing the evaluation plan that will be submitted to the monitoring committee not later than one year after the adoption of the programme.
