ETCP Seminars 2016 season started with a new seminar: “Selection: Preparing calls and selecting operations” from 22 to 24 February in Paris. For 3 days, Irish ETCP Expert Mr Colm Dunne presented selection and evaluation process with specific focus on new Guiding principles. Participants tackled the following key elements: Defining the right target for the right indicators Selecting the best contributions to the programme (selection criteria and process) Improving on-going monitoring – Combining formal requirement and orientation towards results Following new 2014-2020 guiding principle Concentrating intervention on innovative and high quality results Managing cost effectiveness of the operation (value for money, sound financial management)
